Section of A505 in Cambridgeshire closes as tanker overturns

A section of the A505 is closed in both directions following a crash that left a tanker overturned.

Firefighters and an ambulance crew were called to the scene of the crash near Chrishall Road, Fowlmere.

The road was closed between Thriplow and Chrishall Grange at about 3.45pm and remained closed at 6pm.

The fire service said at 4pm: “The A505 is likely to remain closed for a few hours while the road is cleared. Please check your route before you travel.”
