Over the past decade more than 350 early-stage start-up ventures have benefitted from the three-month programme which combines entrepreneurship education, regular coaching and mentoring, as well as access to a shared workspace. Between them the ventures have raised more than £600m in investment, with 68 per cent of the companies continuing to scale.

“The networking event lunch was an opportunity for our most recent intake of Accelerate Cambridge ventures to meet previous cohorts as well as coaches, mentors and other key contacts,” said Stelios Kavadias, co-director of the Entrepreneurship Centre at Cambridge Judge Business School.

“Accelerate Cambridge, which is part of the Entrepreneurship Centre, plays a pivotal role in the development and evolution of this important Cambridge entrepreneurial ecosystem, facilitating the necessary connections between people and resources, and helping to build the important communities of practice that will share insights and experiences with new start-ups.”
