Another accolade for leading law firm Hewitsons
Leading law firm Hewitsons has again achieved strong results in the Legal 500 guide, as the law firm continues to show its force in key practice areas across East Anglia, the East Midlands and the South East.
The annual publication ranks UK law firms and solicitors based on the results of extensive research, including client feedback interviews.
The 2021 guide, published on October 1, names the business as a ‘top-tier firm’ in a total of eight practice areas and recommended in a further 17 practice areas.
Top-tier practices include, amongst various regions: agriculture and estates, personal tax, trusts and probate, corporate and commercial, commercial litigation, charities and not-for-profit, and commercial property.
Hewitsons, which has offices in Cambridge, London, Milton Keynes and Northampton, also performed well in many other practice areas.
In addition, 17 solicitors at the firm have been recognised as ‘leading Individuals’ within their respective specialisms, many having retained this elite status for several years running. Seven lawyers have been named as ‘rising stars’ and two partners named as ‘next generation lawyers’.
Feedback received as part of the rankings process stated: “The team is responsive and provides top-quality advice in an efficient and cost-effective manner. It believes in building long-term relationships and is always prepared to go the extra mile.
“Clients’ praise includes ‘they always deliver expert advice and guidance to help us make good legal and commercial decisions’. Another remarks: ‘The whole team is extremely knowledgeable but also quick to respond with the answers and give complete support.’”
These accolades are some of several achieved by the firm, which also includes: ‘The service is exemplary. Advice is provided very quickly and in a pragmatic and clear style, making it very easy for the recipient to understand.’
