This is the third European SAMPS conference, and the first in Cambridge. The keynote speaker for the conference is Emma White, VP of marketing operations at Oxford Nanopore.

“In this world where we are competing for time, inbox space, and attention,” says a SAMPS spokesperson, “we need to think about how we can innovate in our marketing and sales activities, make budgets go further, dare to do some things differently and how technology can help us.

The agenda starts with a 9am welcome and introduction, followed by Emma’s talk, titled ‘A Community-led Approach to Marketing’. This is followed by Matt Wilkinson, director of Strivenn, talking on ‘From Funnels to Webs: Rethinking Engagement for the AI Era’.
