Cambridge Network partners with Cambridge Young Professionals Group for networking and social events
Cambridge Network is partnering with Cambridge Young Professionals Group (CYPG) to help young professionals in the Cambridge ecosystem to develop essential business and social networks.
CYPG consists of young professionals and recent graduates working in sectors including legal, publishing, accountancy, property and construction, along with young entrepreneurs who live or work in and around Cambridge.
It organises informal monthly drinks and events: events so far have included curry night, a beginner’s guide to curling and pottery painting and prosecco.
John Gourd, CEO of Cambridge Network, said: “We’re delighted to be working with CYPG and help them to extend the reach of their group to the 900 organisations that belong to our network.
“The nature of work has changed significantly since the Pandemic and we want to help young professionals expand their networks.”
Abigail Reynolds, chair of CYPG, said she is “delighted to be working alongside Cambridge Network”, adding: “With a growing trend of hybrid working and young professionals commuting into the city, it has never been more important to make connections, socially and professionally, to establish a strong network for the future.”
Details of CYPG events here. The next event is this month’s Thirsty Thursday, which will be held at the Cambridge Beer Festival. The event will take place on Thursday 23 May at 6pm at the Cambridge Beer Festival held on Jesus Green.
CYPG will set up outside the main marquee, so look out for the banner when you come into the festival.
