Lola Tech founder Luke McNeice, CEO Inge Cuypers and the other shareholders instructed the Cambridge law firm, which worked with senior management on all aspects of the deal.

Corporate partner Oliver Pritchard, supported by Tom Maksymiw, led on the deal, with the firm’s Jonathan Mumby and Matthew Potter advising on the employment law aspects of the deal.

Mr Pritchard said: “We were really pleased to be able to advise Luke, Inge and Lola’s other shareholders in relation to this exciting deal. This transaction builds on our experience with tech business disposals and also involved an international dimension due to Lola’s Romanian-based subsidiary and the buyer’s global reach. We wish the business all the very best for the future.”

Mr McNeice said: “A big shout to Oliver and Tom who got us over the line. Howes Percival’s corporate ethos was a great match for ours, and that played a big part making it as straightforward as possible to work through all the different aspects of the transaction.”
