Cambridge Innovation Park, the Waterbeach hub that opened last year, is already home to more than 40 businesses – and more are moving in.

Owners Paragon Land and Estates has a joint venture partnership with business development firm Incubyte to run a business accelerator and incubator at Stirling House on the site. Incubyte has built some extended co-working spaces at Stirling House which have just become available.

“We had the final fit out of carpets and a clean out done last week,” said Incubyte founder and CEO Rob Precious. “There are 10 new smaller scale-up spaces at Stirling House, 10,000 sq ft in total, for smaller scale-ups who maybe have a couple of people at the moment and don’t know if they’ll need half a dozen more places before the end of the month.

“Two clients have just moved in.”

The two new firms are construction firm Cambridge Roofing Company and solicitors Marie de Louise. There are also individual desks which are now available.

“We have eight desks in a co-working environment,” said Rob, “for people who want a permanent single desk in a shared office environment.”

The price per desk – including free wifi, air-con, furniture, breakout spaces and meeting rooms – is £299 plus VAT per month. Email hello@incubyte.biz for details.

Meanwhile, Move Marketing has set up at Cambridge Innovation Park. The B2B marketing agency is headquartered in Manchester, the new site is its second.

“This is an exciting time of expansion for Move as we have only recently moved into a bigger HQ in Manchester,” said Move’s managing director Alex Cairns. “We have also added two new staff members in the digital and account handling departments and will be looking to recruit a further two new staff members in Cambridge, giving us a firm presence in the south of England from which we can better service our existing client base and build on our success.”
