Luxury garden outhouse maker launches bespoke range
Snuggeries, a new Cambridge-based business providing eco-luxury, bespoke garden ‘Snuggs’, has boldly launched in the middle of the pandemic to help the region’s new wave of stay-at-homers get more value out of their homes.
Suitable for a yoga studio, a home office or a home education space – or all three – the business has been researching the market for more than a year in response to the working-from-home ethos.
Cliff Gibson, owner and founder of Snuggeries, said: “Some people have said we’re mad for launching now, but I’ve always loved a challenge. We had planned a launch event in April so when the government guidance changed, it’s fair to say we pulled a few all-nighters in order to switch to a fully digital launch. But all the effort has been worth it and we’ve been overwhelmed by the response so far.
“The huge demand for our product reflects the numbers of people now working from home, however, this is a trend we were seeing well before the pandemic as people seek better work/life balance and to reduce their environmental impact.”
Prices kick in at around £25,000, with all materials sourced locally where possible.
