Management buyout completed at Pure Resourcing Solutions
A management buyout has been successfully completed at Pure Resourcing Solutions.
The leading professional recruitment company in the Eastern region, which is based in Histon, said it would help empower its senior leadership team and long-standing director Caroline Batchelor to drive the business forward, while staying true to the core values that have held it in good stead since 2002.
The MBO was led by David Culley, Jodie Woodrow, Ben Farrow, Scott Woodrow and Annette Wyld.
Ian Walters, who co-founded Pure with Lynn Walters, said: “Since launching Pure over 22 years ago, our focus has always been on building long-term relationships through a people-first recruitment business driven by integrity, teamwork, and passion.
“I’m delighted to see the next generation of leaders take the reins, ensuring continuity for our clients, candidates, and our highly valued team. This is a fantastic opportunity for David, Jodie, Scott, Annette, and Ben to shape the future of the business. Lynn and I will remain actively involved, supporting them for the foreseeable future.”
David, added: “Our goal is to build on the strong platform that has been established over the past two decades. Pure has always been a values-driven business, and we are committed to upholding these values while continuing to innovate and invest in our people.
“We want to ensure Pure remains the leading recruitment partner in the region. We are grateful to Ian and Lynn for their vision, dedication, and for entrusting us with the opportunity to carry the business forward. It’s an honour to build on the strong foundation that they, along with Gill Buchanan and Caroline Batchelor, originally created.”
The leadership team, which brings more than 95 years of combined experience at Pure, say the MBO offers further opportunity for growth, innovation, and long-term sustainability for both Pure Resourcing Solutions and its executive search arm, Pure Executive.
Executive director Jodie said: “We are excited for the future. This transition allows us to build on our strengths, enhance our services, and remain dedicated to supporting careers and organisations across the East of England. Our commitment to collaboration, excellence, and people-first recruitment remains at the heart of everything we do.”
Pure is also known for organising the annual Best Employers programme and the Women’s Leadership Programme.
