Papworth Trust will now become part of this dynamic and welcoming environment, benefiting from both its facilities and its sense of community. Unity Campus, which has been developed by Howard Group, is a dynamic and welcoming environment, benefiting from both superb facilities and a sense of community. Those working on the site enjoy regular food trucks, an on-site café, a gym, and a calendar of community events, including summer barbecues, art and quiz evenings, and networking opportunities.

Katherine Friend, director – investment and asset management, Howard Group, said: "We are thrilled to provide Papworth Trust with an affordable, perfectly sized, and well-located new home at Unity Campus.

“As a charity dedicated to supporting disabled people to live independent and fulfilling lives, their work is invaluable to the community. We are delighted to welcome them to the Campus and look forward to seeing them flourish within our vibrant and supportive environment."

The new space, which includes a kitchenette, breakout area, meeting room, and high-quality offices with an abundance of natural light, will serve as a day centre supporting disabled people.

In addition, a dedicated outdoor area will be made available for the Trust’s use following planned landscaping works, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Gail Williams, service manager, Papworth Trust, said: ““Papworth Trust is excited to be moving our South Cambridgeshire Day Opportunities service into Unity Campus in Sawston. We were looking for somewhere that could offer us long-term stability, is spacious both inside and out, and offered good links to the wider local community – and Unity Campus achieves this perfectly.

“From this location we’ll be able to support our disabled customers to increase their independence, deliver skills-based activities within the community as well as exploring volunteering and work opportunities. We can’t wait to get started.”
