Intellectual property firm Appleyard Lees celebrated its expansion into Cambridge with a launch event at The Varsity Hotel and Spa.

Guests from a range of sectors – including legal, scientific, technological, academic and financial – enjoyed summer cocktails and canapés at the event on Tuesday June 27.

Julia Gwilt, Cambridge office managing partner, said: “The evening was our opportunity to celebrate the launch of our office and welcome our clients and contacts who have supported us with this move. It was great to see so many people come together to help us celebrate – undeterred by the summer rain!”

Sponsors of the Cambridge Independent’s Entrepreneurial Science and Technology Awards, Appleyard Lees is a leading IP firm with more than 40 patent and trademark attorneys and specialist solicitors across the UK.
