SysKit, which was founded in 2009 in Zagreb, Croatia, to monitor servers and improve internal corporate security and performance, is focused on creating the best-in-class Microsoft 365 management and governance platform. It has been recognised by 3468 companies worldwide as their trusted IT management partner.

The company rebranded from Acceleratio to SysKit in 2017 and has now relocated its headquarters from Croatia to the UK to improve accessibility to its customers.

The company’s team has grown to more than 50, with eight products, and more than 3,000 customers worldwide in 70 nations.

The move follows a prior link to the region. In 2017 Redgate Software acquired SysKit’s SQL manager to enhance its line-up of SQL server tools, which enhanced the data privacy and protection required as GDPR legislation became mandated.

The new investment deepened and expanded the link in that Cade Hill Investments was founded in 2016 by Simon Galbraith, who co-founded Redgate in 1999 and grew it into a 400-person company on Cambridge Business Park. He stood aside in 2021, having been Redgate’s sole CEO for nine years, while remaining a non-executive director at Redgate Software, where the CEO is Jakub Lamik.

“We decided to partner with SysKit because its technology could do something useful for almost every company in the world,” said Simon Galbraith, CEO of Cade Hill Investments. “We’ve also got to know the team and believe in their ability to grow the business and in Cade Hill’s potential to add value to that process.”

SysKit has continued to develop and launch easy-to-use administration tools, including SysKit Point, SPDocKit, SysKit Monitor, SysKit Insights, and SysKit Trace. The tools help administrators, IT professionals, managers, and business team leaders worldwide in achieving their goals.

The flagship product, SysKit Point, enables organisations to protect their business-critical information while ensuring collaboration capabilities stay intact.

The platform provides visibility in the environment, allowing internal and external auditors, compliance managers, Office 365 admins and business users to maintain compliance, reduce sprawl and the chances of a data leak, and establish control over workloads. SysKit Point is available for a 21-day free trial.

The company will use the $9m investment by Cade Hill Investments to scale the business operations, increase hiring and strengthen their lead position in the data governance industry.

“This investment is a part of a long-term growth strategy,” said Toni Frankola, CEO and co-founder of SysKit. “In the times ahead of us, an organisation’s grasp of its Microsoft 365 workspaces, with a secure and compliant tenant, could mean the difference between success and failure. That’s why Cade Hill recognized SysKit Point as an indispensable solution in a company’s IT arsenal, and a prime candidate for investment.”

“SysKit Point’s best features grew from customer feedback and daily business challenges users face,” concludes Frankola. “We want to provide them with the best experience possible, whether it concerns product upgrades, support, or simplifying processes such as invoicing.”
