Terry Holloway to retire from Marshall at the age of 78
Terry Holloway, one of the Marshall family’s most hard-working lieutenants, has finally called it a day at the age of 78.
Terry was a group captain in the RAF when he joined the vehicle and aircraft company.
He became group support executive and one of Sir Michael Marshall’s most loyal advisers.
In 2014 he went part-time: as company historian, he looked after the rich heritage of the privately-owned and family-run business, which was founded in 1909.
Now, says Terry, “my work as company historian for Marshall of Cambridge (Holding) Ltd has been completed and, having managed the profitable and highly successful Marshall-owned Cambridge Aero Club on a part-time basis for the last nine years, I have elected to retire as I approach my 79th birthday”.
He adds: “I have enjoyed my time with Marshall enormously, and am proud to have been part of an exceptional team led by the late Sir Michael Marshall, since my early retirement from the Royal Air Force in the rank of Group Captain in 1995.
“My last day in the office will be November 14, 2023.”
We wish Terry a long and happy retirement.
