Tilney sponsors CEO of the Year at 2020 Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards
Tilney, the Cambridge-based financial planning and investment management group, has been unveiled as the sponsor of the CEO of the Year category at the 2020 Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards.
With so much talent in the region, the category is always fiercely competitive.
CEOs can nominate themselves or be nominated by colleagues for the awards.
Last year, Dr Loubna Bouarfa, CEO of OKRA Technologies, the company using AI to support life science teams, proved a popular winner, while the astonishing achievements of Martin Frost in growing CMR Surgical earned him the coveted title in 2018.
Supporting this year’s category, Tilney is an award-winning financial planning and investment management group, building on a heritage of more than 180 years. It is helping clients to manage £25billion.
From an office in Cambridge, it provides financial advice to individuals, their families, companies and charities.
Managing partner Nick Geere said: “Tilney is immensely proud to be sponsoring the CEO of the Year award at the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards.
“The sector is a key contributor to the local economy and we provide financial planning advice to a number of senior executives, helping them achieve their financial goals.
“As a result we understand the key role that is played by those providing leadership and inspiration to their firms and are looking forward to recognising those achievements.”
Editor Paul Brackley said: “We are delighted to welcome Tilney as a sponsor and look forward to judging the entries to this exciting category.”
Nominations are open until midnight on August 14 - simply fill in the form on this website.
Entry is free.
