We are fully committed to providing a unique and forward thinking sixth-form experience; one that prepares students with the necessary experiences and skills to thrive in an ever-changing world.

We are committed to providing an academic, enriching and aspirational A-level offer in the north of Cambridge city which builds on Chesterton Community College’s excellent provision, who this year have celebrated their best-ever GCSE results.

Students at Chesterton Sixth Form will benefit from exceptionally well-qualified, expert teaching staff working with small classes; an outstanding super-curricular offer designed to make the most of our proximity to Cambridge city; an approach to study which encourages independence, with the freedom to come and go from our campus during the college day; and a wide range of opportunities to design, develop and lead on initiatives such as student executives and social committees.

In addition, our pastoral programme ensures students receive a holistic offer, through daily contact with their sixth form tutor, with our small cohort size meaning every student is truly known well.

Our university application programme is individualised, and draws on expertise from across our trust as well as the wider Cambridge community: every student received bespoke support to ensure they are fully prepared for their next steps.

Our Oxbridge and early entry preparation programme runs alongside this for students pursuing places at top universities, and is run by expert staff with extensive experience of the applications processes and interviews.

Our open evening will showcase our fantastic provision and give you the opportunity to meet current students and staff, as well as experience A-level workshops that incorporate our mantra of ‘empowering minds’. The open evening runs from 6-8pm.

The directors of sixth form will be delivering a short presentation at 6.20-6.40pm and then again at 7.10-7.30pm.

If you’re unable to join us, we’re also offering individual tours of the college. Just get in touch at sixthform@ccc.tela.org.uk to book, or visit our website csf.tela.org.uk.

In the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us with any questions – we’d be really happy to talk to you! You can send any queries to sixthform@ccc.tela.org.uk.
