Stephen Perse Cambridge Sixth Form students celebrate host of top offers
Year 13 students at Stephen Perse Cambridge Sixth Form have earned offers to study at a host of top education institutions, including the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, the University of St Andrews and The Royal Northern College of Music.
Richard Girvan, principal, of The Stephen Perse Cambridge, said: “From classics and Middle Eastern studies to earth and planetary sciences to modern languages and illustration, this year’s offers reflect the strength of our students’ applications and it is no surprise to see that they have secured offers to study at prestigious universities and educational institutions.
“We are tremendously proud of our students’ accomplishments, which are a testament to their hard work and commitment to their studies, supported by their families and our dedicated teaching staff, who I know will be as proud as I am.”
Places have also been secured at other Russell Group universities and notable institutions, including the University of Warwick, Imperial College London, Newcastle University and University of Exeter.
Offers to study medicine or veterinary medicine will follow in the coming months, along with the results of US and worldwide university applications.
Students at Stephen Perse Cambridge Sixth Form, which features small classroom sizes, are encouraged to take three or four A-levels and pursue the Extended Project Qualification - equivalent to half an A-level - or a Stephen Perse project, with enrichment options such as critical thinking, or a modern language qualification.
