These are some of the exceptional images from Cambridge Camera Club’s 2021 annual exhibition, which the Cambridge Independent is proud to support once more.

This year, the exhibition – always one of the highlights of the photographic calendar – is being held online and hundreds of stunning photographs will be available to view.

A virtual launch evening is due to take place on Monday, April 26. Attendees will be able to preview the exhibition and learn which images were chosen as winners by external selectors.

The sponsors’ awards will also be revealed – including the Cambridge Independent Trophy for the Best News, Sport or Documentary image.

Other sponsors include John Lewis, Samsung, Domino, Campkins Cameras, Scotsdales, Olympus and Richer Sounds.

The mayor’s choice, from Cllr Russ McPherson, will also be revealed at the event, which starts at 7.30pm.

Gaby Barnard, from the club, said: “Attendees will have access to the online exhibition from the April 27 to revisit and review at their leisure – a great source of inspiration!”
