3.7-mile diversion in place during month-long closure of Coldhams Lane, Cambridge




A stretch of Coldhams Lane in Cambridge is now closed for almost a month, with a 3.7-mile diversion in place.

The closure, which began at 8am today (Monday, 8 January) and runs until 6pm on Monday, 5 February, is required for works by UK Power Networks.

The section between Nuttings Road - close to the A1134 roundabout beside Sainsbury’s - and Kings Meadow is closed in both directions to motor vehicles.

Drivers are advised to use the diversion on the A1134 Barnwell Road, the A1303 Newmarket Road and Airport Way.
