36-year-old motorcyclist dies on A505 following crash involving HGV in South Cambridgeshire




A 36-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision involving a heavy goods vehicle on the A505 in South Cambridgeshire.

The man, from Royston, was riding his motorbike along the westbound A505 at Fowlmere when it was involved in a collision with an HGV travelling in the opposite direction at about 12.35pm on Tuesday (March 28).

The motorcyclist died at the scene. He has not yet been named, but his next of kin have been informed.

Police said another vehicle travelling westbound was also involved.
