71-year-old woman dies after collision with vehicle in Great Shelford car park

A 71-year-old woman has died after a collision with a car while she was on foot in a Great Shelford car park.

Evelyn Wiseman, of Mill Lane, Wendens Ambo, near Saffron Walden, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital but died on Wednesday (September 21) following the incident.

The collision happened at 12.20pm on Tuesday, September 20 in the car park in Woollards Lane.

Police and paramedics attended. The driver of the car, a red Citroen C1, remained at the scene and continues to help officers with their inquiries.
