79-year-old man dies after collision between motorhomes on A14

A man has died following a collision between two motorhomes on the A14.

The 79-year-old, from east Kent, was driving a white Peugeot caravan when it was involved in a collision with another white Peugeot motorhome at 2.36pm on Sunday (July 17), close to the A11 slip road for Chippenham.

Paramedics attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in his vehicle suffered slight injuries.

The occupants of the other vehicle both received serious but not life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital.

Cambridgeshire police said they were not currently seeking witnesses.
