A-level Results Day 2021: Hills Road Sixth Form College
Students at Hills Road Sixth Form College have been praised for their determination and dedication which led to an exceptional set of A-level grades.
The students have shown remarkable resilience following the “largest disruption to education since the Second World War”.
Principal Jo Trump said: “We are so proud of our students and teaching staff; these grades are every bit as valid – in many ways more so – than a traditional A level year. We are delighted for our students who got the grades for which they worked so hard. For many, these grades are stunning and, for the vast majority of students, they will be able to go on and pursue the career paths and goals they have always dreamed of, which is fantastic.”
Students’ grades have come from a series of assessments made during their time at Hills Road which included final summative assessments taken in May 2021.
All assessments were marked and moderated by the college’s experienced A-level teaching team to ensure Hills Road students can be as proud and as confident in their A-level achievements as every generation before them.
