Two adults and child injured in A10 collision near Littleport
Two adults and a child were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash that led to the closure of a section of the A10 in both directions on Tuesday (14 January).
Police, firefighters and the ambulance service were called at about 7.15am following the crash near Littleport.
An ambulance service spokesperson said: “Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene. An adult man was transported by road to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a serious condition, while a woman and a child were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
Firefighters used specialist equipment to free one of the individuals.
The road was closed at Downhams Lane, near the retail park, Graves Lane roundabout and at the McDonald’s roundabout.
