A14 weekend closures planned

Two sections of the A14 will be closed this weekend, disrupting some bus services.

The A14 will be closed eastbound between junction 23 for Godmanchester/A1198 and junction 24 for Swavesey, and from junction 25 for Bar Hill and junction 31 for Girton/M11.

The closures will be in place between 9pm on Friday (February 7) and 5am on Monday (February 10).

Whippet Coaches have said that service 8 and X3 will run their normal route, but may be affected by the additional traffic.

This evening, Madingley Road will be closed between 9.30pm and 6am on Saturday due to roadworks.

Stagecoach East says this will affect its Citi4 and X5 services as they will be unable to serve all bus stops on Madingley Road.
