Appeal after driver, 80, seriously injured in three-vehicle crash in Great Shelford




An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a woman in her 80s was left with serious injuries following a three-car crash in Great Shelford.

A turquoise Hyundai Bayon, which was being driven by the woman, was in collision with a brown Honda CR-V and a parked Mercedes Vito Van in Woollards Lane at about 1.15pm yesterday (Thursday, 27 February).

The Hyundai flipped on its side and the driver, a woman in her 80s, was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital, in Cambridge, where she was treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Honda was not injured.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is urged to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting incident 232 of 27 February.
