Appeal for CCTV after delivery driver robbed in Cherry Hinton, Cambridge
Witnesses and CCTV footage are being sought by police after a delivery driver was robbed in Cambridge.
The victim was riding a Just Eat bike in Fishers Lane, Cherry Hinton, at about 12.10am on Monday (24 March), when two men on a motorbike pulled up alongside him.
One of them kicked him off his bike and took his mobile phone before riding off on the victim’s motorbike.
The two men then rode off along Cherry Hinton High Street towards the shops and the phone was later recovered by officers. The motorbike is still missing.
The two suspects are described as being white, wearing black clothing, black tracksuit bottoms and black helmets. The victim was unhurt but shaken.
Det Con Ellie Hathiramani said: “I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the two men riding motorbikes in the early hours of this morning in the Cherry Hinton area, especially around High Street.
“Also, if anyone has any doorbell CCTV or general CCTV of the two men, that would be a great help to our investigation.”
