Body found in river at Stourbridge Common

Officers searching for a missing man have recovered a body in the River Cam at Stourbridge Common, Cambridgeshire Constabulary has confirmed.

Emergency services were called to the river earlier this morning (Thursday, March 12).

A statement from the force released this afternoon said: “Formal identification will take place in due course, until that point we are not able to confirm the identity of the deceased.”
