Cambridge City Crematorium and Cemetery to close for works to be completed

Cambridge City Crematorium and Cemetery on Huntingdon Road will be closed to the public from Friday (March 15) to Monday (March 18) while work on the newly-constructed access road is completed.
Due to the nature of the works, the site must be closed during this period for safety reasons.
From Tuesday (March 19), access to the crematorium and cemetery will be via the new road. There will be signs to direct people attending the site.

"We apologise for any inconvenience this closure causes," a statement from the council said.
The closure will start at 6pm on Friday and end at 8pm on Monday.
