Cambridgeshire County Council will be removing the ticket machines at all Park & Ride sites and along the guided busway.

The contactless machine at the Trumpington busway stop will, however, remain.

Passengers will now only be able to pay for Park & Ride and busway services using contactless or cash payments.

The county council says the machines are being removed as they are not used as often as paying on board.

But some residents have raised concerns about the cost of removing the machines, as well as the long delays and queues currently at some Park & Ride sites.

There had been concerns raised about the reliability of the machines.
