Cambridge Stand Up to Racism to ‘take the knee’ this weekend




This Saturday (March 6), Cambridge Stand Up to Racism (SUTR) will ‘take the knee’ in solidarity with footballers and others who are continuing to take a stand against racism.

The event will take place in central Cambridge at 1pm and will last 30 minutes. Anyone wishing to take part should arrive at 12.50pm.

To find out the location, fill in the form at forms.gle/UXuLqNDBqjCwM9oY9 and you will be sent the location details by text and email this Saturday morning at 10.30am at the latest.

The event will be outside and will be socially distanced, and masks must be worn at all times. You will be asked to stand apart from others, even if they are in your bubble (unless you are with your children).

Please do not agree to come if you or anyone you live with are clinically vulnerable, if you have to travel on public transport, have symptoms of Covid-19, or have been in contact with anyone who has.
