The daily programme, which is hosted by Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, was due to broadcast live from inside the Union tomorrow (Friday, January 31).
The Cambridge Union has cancelled its Good Morning Britain event - which was to have been held on ‘Brexit Day’, the day the UK leaves the European Union.
In a Facebook post, the Union stated: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Good Morning Britain will no longer be able to attend the Union this Friday”.
It added: “Our deepest apologies for any inconvenience this causes to our members.
“Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you at our future events this term.”
Good Morning Britain airs daily from 6-9am on weekdays on ITV.
