Cambridge University Boat Race crew meet Boaty the giraffe at Graduate Cambridge

Members of the Cambridge University Boat Race crew got to meet Boaty the giraffe during a dinner at The Graduate Cambridge hotel on Sunday (17 March).

Boaty is one of 31 large giraffe sculptures forming the new Cambridge Standing Tall trail around the city from Thursday (21 March) until 2 June, which the Cambridge Independent is proud to support.

Boaty can be seen in the riverside garden of the hotel in Granta Place, off Mill Lane and will no doubt be cheering on the Light Blues when they take on Oxford on 30 March.
