Cambridge's C3 Church to make a cross in the sky this Good Friday

For the last two years on Good Friday, the C3 Church in Cambridge has had a plane fly over the city and write a sign in the sky (cross = love) to share the message of Easter.

The church, which is located in Brooks Road, hopes to do the same again this year (weather permitting) this Good Friday (April 2) at around 3pm.

Josh and Katie Campbell, C3 Cambridge location pastors, said: "No one could have imagined or prepared for a year like the one we have had. While the uncertainty continues, one thing we believe at the C3 Church is that the message of the cross changed everything for everyone.

"Jesus loved the world so much that he died upon a cross and rose again victorious. If that doesn’t speak of love, we don’t know what does."

The couple added: "We believe Easter is a time to celebrate so keep your eyes on the sky this Good Friday between 3 and 3.15pm as we share the message of the cross over Cambridge. Cross = love."
