Celebration of 33 years of Ukraine’s independence to be held in Cambridge

A celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of Ukraine will be held in King’s Parade, Cambridge, on Saturday (24 August).

Organised by the Centre for Ukrainian Heritage Art & Music (HAM), it will feature musical performances from 2-3.30pm, telling the story of Ukraine from ancient times to modern days, while speakers will share their experiences of the war that has raged in the country for the past two and a half years.

All are invited to come along.
