Crash closes A10 between Melbourn and Royston




Traffic remains heavy on the A10 between Melbourn and Royston this evening (Friday, August 13) after a crash.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene shortly before 4.30pm.

The service’s south roaming fire engine attended along with support from firefighters in Royston.

Ambulance crews also attended and the road was closed while the area was made safe and the casualties were treated.

The road reopened shortly before 6pm.

“Traffic might still be heavy while things open up, so please continue to take care in the area,” said the service.
