The man, who was in his 60s, sadly died at the scene in Newmarket Road and police are now appealing for witnesses.

A cyclist has died following a collision with a car in Cambridge.

Emergency services were called to Newmarket Road at about 9.15pm on Wednesday November 29 following reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a red Ford Focus C-Max.

Cambridgehire police have confirmed that the cyclist, a man in his 60s, died at the scene.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the cyclist or the car in the moments leading up to it, to come forward,
