Cyclist seriously injured in early morning Cambridge crash




A cyclist has been left with serious injuries following a crash in Cambridge in the early hours of the morning.

The cyclist was injured after his bicycle was in collision with a blue Honda Accord at the junction with Fen Causeway just before 3am on Saturday, 14 December.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should contact police.

Emergency services attended and the cyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains.

The driver of the car was uninjured and remained at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or believes they saw the vehicles in the build-up to it, should contact a member of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit online quoting incident 58 of 14 December. Alternatively call 101.
