Dealer who travelled to Cambridge to sell drugs is jailed
A drug dealer who travelled to Cambridge to sell crack cocaine and heroin has been jailed.
Police raided Nesta Baffi’s home in London on May 19 after suspecting he was a county lines drug dealer.
Officers found crack cocaine and heroin worth more than £2,000 in his bedroom, as well as three mobile phones containing messages to drug users across Cambridgeshire.
Baffi, 31, of Reedham Close, was sentenced to six years and three months in prison at Cambridge Crown Court on December 23 after previously pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs and two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
Detective Constable Beccy Halls, who investigated, said: “Baffi was responsible for running a criminal enterprise offering to supply calls A drugs within Cambridgeshire.
“Using phone data we were able to link him to the ‘bakes’ drugs line.
“County lines dealers prey on the vulnerabilities of others in order to run their business and make money.
“We are dedicated to disrupting these lines and bringing people like Baffi responsible, before the courts to make our communities safer.”
