Death in Cambourne not treated as suspicious, police confirm




A death in Cambourne last night (July 23) is not being treated as suspicious.

Police, paramedics and the air ambulance descended on Back Lane at about 6pm and closed part of the road.

This morning, Cambridgeshire Constabulary confirmed that a man had died following a medical episode.

A spokesperson said: “We were called at 6pm yesterday (July 23) to reports of a man suffering from a medical episode in Back Lane, Cambourne.

“Emergency services attended, however, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The death is being treated as non-suspicious and will be handed to the coroner.”
