The carriageway had been closed between junctions 33 and 35 since shortly before 11am today (Friday, September 15).

There are also delays on the M11 following a lorry fire near junction 9 for the A11 earlier this morning.

Delays northbound are reported to be almost back to junction 8 for Bishop’s Stortford/Stansted Airport. Motorists travelling southbound on the M11 are warned of approximately five miles of delays between junction 11 for Trumpington and junction 10 for Duxford. This is also affecting the A505 eastbound at Duxford.
