Dramatic footage of police chasing suspect through streets of Cambridge released

Cambridgeshire police have released dramatic footage from a bodyworn camera of officers giving chase in Cambridge and making an arrest.

The footage show neighbourhood officers chasing an individual on foot through streets, a car park and playing fields, while a police siren can be heard in the background.

They worked with officers in vehicles to stop the suspect, whom they arrested near the junction of Buchan Street with Jedburgh Close at about 4.45pm on January 26.

The force said a man has been charged with possession of a knife in a public place.
