A Foxton-based hairdresser staged a 24-hour hair cutting marathon to raise money for Maggie’s, a charity which offers support to people with cancer and their loved ones.

Tiffany Best cut the hair of 30 people from 11am on Friday (June 21) to 11am on Saturday (June 22) at Foxton Primary School.

“So far, we’ve raised £915,” said Tiffany, “and we’ve still got more coming.”

Jack Clarkson, centre fundraiser at Maggie’s, added: “We are very grateful for the money raised by Tiffany through her 24-hour haircut fundraiser, and are so appreciative of her hard work and enthusiasm.”
