Get advice on how to save energy at Cottenham Community Centre

Sustainable Cottenham has arranged a drop-in facility from 11am to 3pm this Sunday (November 6) at Cottenham Community Centre - on the High Street, opposite the Co-Op - for people to ask questions to those in the know and get practical advice about how to save energy - and money - and about any financial help that might be available.

Topics discussed will include solar panels and battery storage, air source heat pumps and everyday tips to cut energy use around the home. The event is supported by South Cambridgeshire District Council Zero Carbon Communities and

Transition Cambridge.

Cottenham Community Centre, along with the village hall, will also be operating from next week a Warm hub at the village hall on Monday mornings and at the community centre on Friday afternoons for people to come and keep warm and enjoy the company of others.
