A new home is being sought for a giant model of a PC as the Centre for Computing History needs the space for a new exhibit.

The model, which is a former stage prop showing the internal workings of a desktop computer, was gifted to the museum several years ago.

But now museum director Jason Fitzpatrick needs the space for some large computers that used to control the signals on London’ Underground’s Bakerloo line.

He said: “All the kids who come to the museum love climbing inside this model so we would like it to go to a good home. It is free to anyone who can remove it.”
