Great St Mary’s Church in Cambridge to host service of commemoration for the Queen




A choral service of commemoration to Her Late Majesty the Queen, attended by civic and university representatives, will take place at Great St Mary’s Church in Cambridge at 5pm on Sunday, September 18.

The Bishop of Huntingdon will officiate at the university church.

The church is open from 9am to 6pm daily, and a book of condolence is available to sign there.

A spoken requiem Eucharist is also due to take place at Great St Mary’s on Wednesday, September 14.

Meanwhile, the proclamation of King Charles III is due to take place at the Guildhall in Cambridge at 1pm on Sunday, September 18.
