Kouros Majidi has passed the halfway mark in his One Million Step Challenge for Diabetes UK.
As of Monday, he had completed more than 504,000 steps, walking around Queen Edith’s, Cherry Hinton and Cambridge Biomedical Campus daily from July 1.
Kouros, who has diabetes, is completing 11,000-13,000 steps a day to raise money and boost his own health.
He has brought his average blood sugar levels down and hopes to put his type 2 diabetes into remission before the end of the challenge on September 30.
