Man and woman in 20s die after their Porsche is in collision with Volkswagen in South Cambridgeshire

A man and a woman in their 20s have died following a crash in South Cambridgeshire.

The collision happened at about 10.40am on Sunday (December 9) in Brinkley Road near Six Mile Bottom.

The man and woman, who were in a Porsche Boxster, died at the scene after the car was in a collision with a Volkswagen Golf GTI.

A man in his 40s, who was driving the Volkswagen, was taken to Addenbrooke’s with minor injuries.

Police officers, along with fire and ambulance crews, attended the scene.

The road was closed and was not expected to reopen this afternoon.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or believes they saw the vehicles in the build up to it, should call 101 and ask to speak a member of the Road Policing Unit, quoting incident 160 of December 9.
