Man dies at Milton recreation ground

A man has died after suffering a cardiac arrest in a village playground, yesterday.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance helicopter, along with paramedics and the police were called to the emergency at the recreation ground, near the Sycamores in Milton, Cambridge, at around 3.30pm on Tuesday (February 4).

A spokesman for East Anglian Air Ambulance said: “An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to the recreation ground, near the Sycamores in Milton, shortly before 3.30pm yesterday (Feb 4), following reports of a man in cardiac arrest. Sadly, despite the best efforts of all involved, the patient died at the scene.”
