Mary Quant the subject of Sick Children’s Trust lunchtime talk




The Cambridge Sick Children’s Trust committee held a fundraising lunch at Madingley Hall last Thursday (4 April).

Heather Tilbury Phillips gave a talk about the late fashion designer Mary Quant, and Peter Cunard, who has a background in public relations and media, also spoke.

Patsy Glazebrook, Cambridge fundraising committee founder, said: “It was a very successful lunch and Heather Tilbury Phillips certainly knew her facts all about Mary Quant, having worked with her for years.

“And it was a fascinating and amusing lecture by Peter Cunard, one of our founding members of the Sick Children’s Trust.”
