Cambridgeshire pub is looking for new owners

The Jolly Brewers pub in Milton is up for sale at a freehold price of £695,000.

The pub, which also boasts four en-suite rooms, is a grade II-listed building and owned by Milton Inns.

The business has instructed Cambridge commercial property consultants Everard Cole to put the venue on the market.

Chris Jones of Everard Cole said: “I can confirm the property is up for sale.”

The pub closed in October after managers Steve and Bridget Parr left.

Mrs Parr said: “We didn’t plan on going back home but to stay here at the Jolly Brewers a long time.

“But we have had a great time, so thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”

Ruth Kivlin, director of Milton Inns paid tribute to the pair, saying: “Milton Inns would like to thank Steve, Bridget and family for all of their hard work over the past six months with us, hopefully they will be able to get back to a work-life balance.

“We would like to wish them every success in their future careers.”
